Prophesising the Internet

14 May 2009- 10:15 Old Mutual Business School in Cape Town is currently hosting the Net Prophet Conference which is aimed at making business sense of the internet.

Arthur Goldstruck, award- winning writer, analyst and commentator of the internet, mobile and business and consumer technologies, and one of the Prophets (speakers) for the day stated that, “He has never seen so many people at an internet conference in South Africa before.”

Other Prophets for the day include Peter Flynn from SASS (South Africa Software Service), Andrew Smith (whiz kid at Live Alchemy), Herman Heunis (Founder and CEO of mobile IM giant Mxit), Henk Kleynhans (Founder of Skyrove) Hannes Van Rensburg(Founding member of Fundamo), Dave Duarte (internet and mobile marketing specialist), Mike Stopforth (Head of Cerebra), and Charl Norman (internet entrepreneur, and blogger and Co- Founder of SA social network Blue World)
